Protect your ceiling fan installation with a ceiling fan seismic restraint kit – a purpose-designed safety system that helps prevent a fan from falling during earthquakes, structural movement, or excessive vibration.


This kit is strongly recommended for ceiling fans installed with downrods longer than 80 cm, where increased leverage and movement significantly raise the risk of mounting failure.
It is also highly recommended for high-wind environments, including exposed buildings, coastal locations, and large open or semi-outdoor spaces.


In windy conditions, airflow can cause the fan and downrod to swing and oscillate, increasing the risk of the fan hitting nearby ceilings, beams, lights, or fittings, and in extreme cases, pulling loose from the mounting point and falling.
